Joe Parks is a seasoned pastor and dedicated leader with a heart for the local church and a passion for seeing people transformed by the gospel. He has been married to Cathleen Parks since 1991, and together they have two daughters. Joe pursued his ministry education at the University of Biblical Studies and Seminary in Bethany, OK, a formative season that deepened his love for Scripture and his calling to serve the local church. Over the course of decades in ministry, Joe has led with humility, clarity, and an unwavering commitment to spiritual growth.

Before making the move to Eureka, Joe pastored New Life Church in Bakersfield, CA, where he led with conviction, compassion, and a strong sense of mission. In December of 2022, Joe and Cathleen stepped into their current role at Faith Center Foursquare Church, bringing with them years of pastoral experience and a heartfelt desire to see the church thrive.

Their leadership style is rooted in the truth found in 1 Thessalonians chapter 1, where believers are called to live by faith, be known by love, and serve as a voice of hope in the world. This passage has become a defining compass in both their personal walk and their approach to ministry.

At the center of Joe’s calling is a clear and intentional path: to help people know God personally, find lasting freedom, discover their God-given purpose, and make a meaningful difference in the world around them. He leads with a deep love for the Word, a pastor’s heart for people, and a vision to see the people of Faith Center Foursquare Church thrive.
