Matt and Heidi Messner have been married for over twenty years and have two adult children, Alicia, and Levi.

Matt has a great passion to see the Church impacting the community and the world. He is a visionary leader with a deep sense of calling and mission. He has a history of empowering and mobilizing other leaders and has proven himself as an inspirational communicator, and a strong Bible teacher.

 Pastor Gary Loop has served at Faith Center as the Pastor of Care Ministries since 2002. His responsibilities include overseeing small groups, men's ministries, benevolence, and visitation among others. He is a part of Faith Center's teaching team and also teaches part time for Foursquare Missions International.

Pastor Gary graduated with an Associate degree from Central Oregon Community College and went on to graduate from Life Bible College in Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Theology degree. Pastor Gary and his wife Johnell, also an ordained minister, have served as pastors in Sylmar, CA, Gresham, OR, Riverside, CA and at Angeles Temple in Los Angeles. They served as Foursquare missionaries in Hong Kong for 3 years and in the Philippines for 12 years. Gary has also worked in Los Angeles at the headquarters for the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel for two years in the Christian Education Department.

Pastors Gary and Johnell have been married for 37 years and have three grown children and two grandchildren.

Susan Jones - Pastor of Recovery Ministries

 Pastor Susan has served at Faith Center for many years in many various ministries including women's, youth and children. She is currently the Pastor of Support and Recovery ministries. Her responsibilities include overseeing Celebrate Recovery and all of our other Support and Recovery groups. She has also taught at North Coast Bible Institute.

Pastor Susan has a Bachelors Degree from Humboldt State University and certificates in Women's Studies and Christian counseling as well as training in other areas of counseling. She became licensed as a Foursquare Pastor in 2004. As a teenager she was called to be a Christian counselor, and believes strongly that being a pastor of support and recovery ministries and being able to help people in this important way is her God ordained purpose.

Pastor Susan has two grown children.

Joe Kencke – NextGen Pastor and Director of North Coast Bible Institute

Joe has been serving on staff at Faith Center since 2003 in various roles including the Children’s Pastor and most recently as the NextGen Pastor.  His responsibilities include overseeing programming for birth through young adults, with his primary focus being  Jr. High and Sr. High students.  He is also the Director of North Coast Bible Institute. Joe graduated from Humboldt State University with a degree in Elementary Education and his 5th year California State Teaching Credential.  He also graduated from North Coast Bible Institute and has his ministerial license.

Joe and his wife Rebekah have been married for 9 years and have two young daughters.

Curt Branscombe – Director of Creative Worship Ministries

Curt Branscombe joined the Faith Center staff in the beginning of 2011. He has worked in NextGen Ministries with youth and children and is currently  serving as Faith Center’s Worship Leader and Director of Creative Worship Ministries. 

Curt has completed his A.A. degree in Music Ministry while attending Pacific Life Bible College in British Colombia, Canada and is working on completing his B.A. in Church Ministries.  Curt has a great passion for encouraging the church to be all they can be that reflects in a lifestyle of praise and worship with no limitations. God is doing big things at Faith Center and Curt is very excited for what is ahead in the Creative Worship Department at Faith Center Church.

Curt and his wife, Rachel, recently got married in the summer of 2011.

Sandi Case - Director of Life Development

Sandi has been attending Faith Center since 1976, and has been on staff since January 2008.  Her responsibilities include resourcing our Small Groups, providing our various Life Development Process classes and adult Bible Studies, overseeing the Welcome Center and front office, helping volunteers find fulfilling and fruitful places to serve, and connecting with visitors and newcomers to our body.

Sandi and her husband Richard have been married since 1974 and are the parents of one son, Jesse.

Maryann Roberts has been serving on staff at Faith Center since 1998.  She has served in many different areas including children’s ministry, youth ministry,  various administrative roles, and outreach ministries.  She is currently the Director of Children’s Ministry, overseeing the programs for children birth through 6th grade.
Maryann has 3 grown children and one granddaughter.
