Faith Center offers classes and groups almost every weekday. The following classes and groups are ongoing. Come anytime and drop-ins are welcome.

On Monday nights, Celebrate Recovery offers a worship service and small groups for people dealing with a wide variety of hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Check out that web page for more details.

Every Tuesday evening our Intercessory Prayer group meets in the Sanctuary from 6:30 – 8:00.

If you feel called to pray for Faith Center, Humboldt County, California and beyond, you are very welcome to join this very important ministry group.

Also on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 we offer a women’s bible study the Christian Education building. This group goes verse by verse through books of the Bible, and no homework is involved. It is a safe place to ask questions about the Word of God.

Thursday evenings are when the Men’s Fellowship/Bible Study meets in the Kitchen of the Christian Education building. Join with other men who want to go deeper into God’s word.

Classes and Bible Studies

Jesus: The One and Only: Meets Thursdays from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Faith Center Family Room. This in-depth women’s Bible Study by Beth Moore is a study on the life of Jesus, based on the book of Luke.

“Welcome to the Revolution” is a bold, honest, humorous guide to joining the ever-advancing Kingdom of God. It will meet Sundays at 11 a.m. in the Family Room beginning January 15th.    This 8 week class will guide you from the basics, to the practical, to the profound.  To those people who have previously dismissed the “Christian” life, or those who want to learn more about God in an accessible way, this book will be the breath that clears the air and shows them how to follow a Revolutionary God.

Women’s Bible Study - Join Gretha and Lynnette Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 beginning January 12th for an 8 week DVD/Workbook Bible Study entitled, "Faithful, Abundant, True...Going Deeper Still," with Kay Arthur, Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer.  Workbooks may be purchased for $16. There is a Part 2 to this Bible Study that will run March 15 through May 3rd. This 2nd class is entitled, "God Are You There, Do You Care, Do You Know About Me?"  It is an inductive seven week Bible study of John for those brand new to Bible study as well as those who have studied the Bible for decades.  Everyone will benefit from this class.  Books may be purchased for $13. Childcare will be provided but is limited, so be sure to sign up early.  You won't want to miss either of these classes as we combine learning God's Word with a little fun.

Renovation of the Heart (Putting on the Character of Christ): Wednesdays from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in Room 2 of the CE Building. In Renovation of the Heart, best selling author Dallas Willard calls it “the transformation of the spirit” - a divine process that “brings every element in our being, working from inside out, into harmony with the will of God or the kingdom of God.”

Personality Gifts of the Holy Spirit: Meets Wednesdays from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the U-Turn Dome. God has given you very important gifts proportioned specially for you.  You will take an assessment of your personal spiritual and motivational gifts, and in the weeks that follow we will discuss these gifts.
