Missions & Outreach

International Missions

Foursquare Missions is the international mission arm of the U.S. Foursquare Church whose mandate is to win the world to Christ through the planting of healthy, reproducing churches through indigenous leadership.

Short term mission teams:

Various teams from Faith Center will be going abroad to serve in numerous ways from construction to children’s ministry to relief efforts.

Contact our church office for a list of upcoming teams.

Local Outreach

We are reaching out to our community through the following:

Celebrate Recovery

Find Help, Healing and Hope.  It is a recovery program based on the Twelve Steps and Eight Principles from the Beatitudes.

Local outreach events and service projects

  • Kid’s Carnival - Each October 31st Faith Center helps the community by providing a safe place at the fairgrounds for children to have fun as an alternative to being on the streets.
  • Cleaning our Community – Church wide and individual small groups help to make our community cleaner and nicer by taking on improvement projects around the community.
  • Participating in Local Events – Such as the Rhododendron Parade in the spring and the trucker’s parade in the winter.
  • Alpha - A ten-week opportunity for people to explore the authenticity and relevance of the Christian faith for their lives in a non-threatening environment.

Partnering with the Eureka Rescue Mission, Teen Challenge and Prison Ministry

  • Eureka Rescue Mission – Faith Center supports the Eureka Rescue Mission financially and by holding services for them on a monthly basis.
  • Teen Challenge – Faith Center supports the local Redwood Teen Challenge financially and with encouragement to its participants who join with the church’s Saturday evening service.
  • Prison Ministry – Faith Center has an active ministry to inmates of the local Humboldt County Jail providing singing, teaching, bibles, and other spiritual encouragement for inmates.
